We All Start as a Beginner - episode 83
The passion, and the obvious enjoyment of everything she is doing, makes Toni an upcoming woman to watch. She is a dynamo, doing all the things to pursue her dreams while she speaks into the rest of us the importance of having a good relationship with food, and with love. She’s got a book, Once Upon a Diet and cleverly parallels her past love stories with her food experience.
How about the willingness to support others? Love that. And as Toni points out we are all beginners. We all start there, no exceptions. Where we go is up to us: our desire, our drive, and what we seek. Are we relentless about it - in a good way. The pursuit of a goal even if it’s hard. Remember we are here to make a mark, so let’s do it.
We’re Here to Make a Mark
Thoughts from We All Start as a Beginner
This is another one of Toni’s pearls of wisdom, We’re here to make a mark. And I agree with her! The mark can obviously vary - we are not all called to do the big things, and yet if you want to do the big things do all you can to make that dream a reality. You will not be sorry you give it your all. The alternative is to never try and that seems the saddest of all, to wonder what would have happened. What if…? That’s a question I don’t want to ask myself anymore. I used to partake in this particular activity more than I’d like to admit. When you know better you do better. Thank God.
Toni has definitely taken What if out of her repertoire. She goes for things and sometimes the answer is yes, and sometimes the answer is no. Yet she keeps going forward. That is another important part of going for things, being able to handle “no” and trust there is something else down the road. In the meantime keep doing the thing because you have to, because you get to, because you want to.
So I took a deep dive into Toni’s website Tips with Toni. This is what I saw: a young woman who is in her element. Someone who described herself well: passionate, relentless and bubbly. It translates from the page. She is accomplished because she keeps moving forward with this desire for us to understand the necessity of having a healthy relationship with food AND having a healthy love life. I love how she pairs those together.
Let’s take a peek together. (And no, I wasn’t asked to feature her website, I think she is doing important work needing to be shared. Who knows who it might help?)
And so you know, I eat like Snow White. ❤️
It’s all a journey, you are not alone.
