A One-Off for CJ - episode 78

This “one-off” is a celebration of the life of our son, Christian John who passed away at three months of age.  While this was a painful time for our family we traveled through our grief and came out the other side to a place where we looked for, and identified the good that came from our time with him.  This is a reflection, a challenge, if you will, to look for the good after the hard thing.

A Poem

Thoughts from A One-Off for CJ

It’s hard to know where to turn

When the thought of a loss has such a burn.

When one so small is given his wings

Before he’s done so many things.

It might help to think of this -

His time on earth was like a kiss.

A kiss so briefly enjoyed

But the memory is everlasting…
