For the first time ever we are having a guest host, Shaun, my son. He is a natural host as you will hear. We covered topics ranging from unhappiness to unusual jobs, music to movies; why Belle is my favorite Disney character; and my ongoing crush on Kevin Costner. Not to mention the vulnerability hangover I had after meeting Doris Roberts.

Thoughts from A Thanksgiving Treat
It turns out men ARE listening. And that is pretty big. That they are interested and want to invest in hearing what we, as women, have to say about things close to our hearts gives me joy. Some of those things are serious. Some are light, happy, and so many things in between.
This started with some of the men in my life listening. (Ok, they kind of had to support and encourage me, right?) Then they shared how much they were getting from the episodes - like we were - things they wanted to practice, and it gave them a deeper understanding of us. As women. That’s a win in my book.
Which brings me to this man. At the last minute I asked him to participate in an experiment by interviewing me. He said yes. We had a lively conversation, one I enjoyed immensely. (I think it shows from both sides.) I will ask him to participate again. In fact I want to do a series featuring men in 2021 that will focus on their thoughts/feelings about women: their understanding, their confusions, their questions, etc. I can’t wait!
